Attractive salary model

The work our employees do is very good – we want to remunerate them for this appropriately. In the process, we do not opt for purely performance-based remuneration as we see ourselves as a team that shapes the future of the ba institute jointly. That is why our salary model comprises three components: a fixed salary, a personal bonus and a participation in the company's profits from the third year of service with the company.

3-year programme

As an employer, we want to make it possible for our employees to make rapid progress on the career ladder. We therefore use a 3-year programme: in the third year, it is possible for every employee at every level to climb to the next level, and on request to assume more responsibility. For Junior Consultants, the decision to develop further is mandatory: they take over responsibility as a consultant after three years or they leave the company.

5 levels at the ba institute

The positions at our company are individually tailored to the respective starting situation, the prior knowledge and qualifications of our employees. We differentiate between five levels:

  • The career start: Junior Consultant
    A young professional starts out as a Junior Consultant at our company and supports his or her colleagues in the handling of client projects. This training on the job familiarizes him or her with our clients, projects and business practices, and is accompanied by numerous training measures. Seminars and individual courses of further training make it possible for young professionals to undergo intensive further development at our company. In the process, each Junior Consultant has a mentor on hand who is ready, willing and able to answer all questions and provide valuable tips.
  • A strong analyst/project manager becomes a Consultant
    At our company, Consultants have at least three years of professional experience. They have in-depth knowledge of our methods, are responsible for the handling and the success of small and medium-sized client projects, and/or support our Senior Consultants in their project work.
  • Experienced project experts: Senior Consultant
    Our Senior Consultants have comprehensive know-how and at least six years of professional experience in their field of work. They are contact persons for other employees, lead internal and external teams autonomously, and are responsible for the acquisition of new projects at our clients.
  • Knowledgeable interface: Manager
    Alongside Partners, our Managers are the most experienced employees at our company: they have at least nine years of professional experience, work closely with the Partners and are responsible for internal fields of activitiy such as recruiting, acquisition and method development. Like the Partners themselves, they are responsible for maintaining customer relationships, have comprehensive methodological know-how and make a fundamental contribution to the company's reputation in-house and externally.
  • Strategy and company development: Partner
    The Partners of the ba institute form the company management; they have the strategic and entrepreneurial responsibility, and are responsible for company and employee development.
     
     

    We encourage our employees

    We expect our employees to be up-to-date in their specialist field and to acquire various certifications. We are of course pleased to support this and assume 100% of the costs for work-related training measures. In addition, we offer protection in the event of illness that goes beyond the statutory requirements, the compensation of overtime and additional benefits on the birth of new family members. We are also pleased to support personal commitment by our employees for their own projects.
